Fishbit Launches on Kickstarter
From hacked prototype to consumer ready product
For this week's edition of #TBT, we're revisiting Fishbit, who launched their Kickstarter campaign yesterday for the world’s simplest aquarium monitor and controller.

After winning Startup Weekend in Chicago at the beginning of 2014, Fishbit hacked together the above prototype before joining Highway1 later that fall.

The above .gif shows the assembly of a beta unit shipped to 50 backers after finishing the Highway1 program.
